Default GLD video 7-20-07

Made it out friday night to GLD to only find that the place was packed. Pulled in at 8pm and had to double park behind someone because the place was so busy. That night they were running diesel drags along with snowmobiles and jr. dragsters. As if that wasn't enough going on there had to be at least 50 other cars there. The staging lanes were backed all the way up to were it curves. Some guy blew his motor down at the end of the track so that took another 25 min to clean up. Ran a total of 3 times, no records set because neither of us could hook. Still decent 11's with 2 second 60 fts. My trap speed did go up 2mph to 129

Thanks to Chris(BigCamZ28) he took these.

I can't remember what this thing ran but it was FAST

That's the pic chris took of you pissing in the staging lanes

and the reason it goes so long is I did one of those things where I added the music and never deleted the rest of the "space"

Damn...2.0 60 fts., track must have really sucked. Consistent mph though, so it's just a matter of hooking it up for some really nice ET's.

I've always found a lack of traction whenever the Diesel Trucks are running. Both times they had events (once at Byron, once at GLD), my 60 ft's sucked.

This car has always trapped high. 119 with just a pulley. I have no doubt this car will make it into the 10's with e/t streets.

Default gld runs

Wow, cars look awesome. I'm sorry and I don't mean to piss on your parade but, with 600rwhp you should be ashamed to post mid-11 second times. I run that with a pulley and drag radials. Get some damn slicks.

Yikes... give him some time to get use to his car. Any time you'd like to take a lane with someone more your caliber... I'm right here.

I was there with a friend that night we where just watching nothing better to do. That Viper' s first pass was a 10.5 and I don't think he sprayed that run. His second pass he purged the spray and if I remember right it was a 10.23. That was a badass viper, would loved to have seen under the hood but the few times I was in the pits it was closed. The turbo on it sounded like a vacum. I was happy we did not bring the cars it was very busy and the track being shut down a few times did not help.
I looked for you guys RD Snake and CobraChris08 to say hello but never saw anyone near the cars. Boost12 that car is SICK Man I was so mad when I notice no time clock. But I have a pretty go idea of what you ran

I'd love to see you pull off a mid 11 sec time slip that night. And look in the vehicle profile under my sig. Car has run a best of 11.1, but I guess that isn't good enough for the 2nd time ever at the track with car.

Ashamed , that's a pretty harsh assessment. Were you running your 11.60's the same night he was there?

He's already run 11.1 with the car first time out on his new combo on DR's (full weight car in moderate weather). And hooking up 600 rwtq is alot harder than putting 500 to the ground on a marginal track on DRs. His car will certainly go faster with more practice and better weather, but it's almost certain to run 10's with slicks or ET Streets on a better prepared track. He's cut mid 1.6 60 fts. before, but could only manage 2.0's on this particular night, that should tell you something about the track conditions.

it's hard with this clutch to shift fast. Fugger doesn't wanna grab like it used to(Centerforce DFX 4500 miles) I dont think it's time for a new one yet.

NO, it's gay. The viper sounded good when he started it up in the staging lane.
