Oh, I see. so everyone talks and runs THIER mouth and then.... "I can't make it this week, but, i'm gonna kick your ass!" Ok. Or, were do you hang out? Are you going to race me in the parking lot? Ok, I'm done here. Once again, if anyone wants to play, you know where to find me.

Firstsvt has already told you to go to RSD's (thats real street drags for the ignorant like you) and he'll gladly drag you down the 1320.

chris and kevin are always out prowling the streets waiting to split some wigs.

and i'm sure wiked03 or gnxs will gladly show you how to launch and drive your car

First grammar ......

Oh, I see. (no period, comma) so (e.g., Oh I see, so everyone talks and runs THIER (sp) THEIR mouth (their mouthes what? off??) and then... "I can't make it this week, but, i'm gonna kick your ass!" Ok. (Leave out the OK) Or, were (where) do you hang out? (New paragraph)

Are you going to race me in the parking lot? Ok, I'm done here. (Phew, thank you!!) Once again, if anyone wants to play, you know where to find me. (And where the hell is that?? I'm game )

Immaturity at its finest

I'm not a full time member of this board and you've even pissed me off with your attitude.

This group has welcomed me, helped me when my car took a dump, made sure I made it home, etc.......... Everyone I've met here has treated me wonderfully while being the odd ball GM guy.

Why do you want to piss these guys off?

And my offer to "play" stands.

I need to vent some health issues and you seem like a great outlet

Thanks for being my little spell checker/Thesaurus Roy! You smart little feller! I know everyone can read my posts but if you missed it here is a little reminder. I race at GLD. I was there tonight and didn't see any of you little internet people. I stated if anyone wanted to race me I would be there tonight. No one showed up and yet there still seems to be all this talk. Not sure when rsd is taking place. My opinion on what a car should run based on the horsepower they make is just that, MY OPINION. Yet everyone sees this as a personal attack. Then everyone wants to race me and call me "JOHN FORCE" or a bozo.

Maybe we should ask Mr. Kurgan what a 600hp street car at 3700lbs should run. He wins races/championships/ and knows how to drive. Obviously, Bob is an exceptional driver and I can't see anyone coming close to being able to drive like he does, but I would think you should be able to put a tree sloth in the car and run 10's. 11.60 with 600hp? There is something wrong. That's why I said in my first post, "put on some damn slicks". I started no trash talk but it is my fault that I responded.

I don't claim to be John Force but I think I can pull gears and drive pretty well. It seems that no one here takes criticism very well.

As for the street racing y'all talk about (that's southern drawl roy!) that sounds like fun. I'd come hang out in the parking lot, but racing on the street is a good way for your license to be taken away. But as posted before you guys are so smart and knowledgeable you already know that.

you ask and you shall receive...

the bottom line of this thread was for chris to show he is improving on his driving skills. He has probably 1/10th the amount of runs at the track as it sounds like you have. His 129mph trap speeds show alot of potential.

His car is not set up to drag race. His car was built for pure enjoyment and more "roll races" then anything else.

Will his car run 10s eventually?? Im sure it will. He has the power to easily go high 10s once he puts on a set of slicks, changes a few suspension things, and drives it like he hates it. Does it really matter? I dont think so.

That being said, I think it would be appropriate if you kept your belittling comments to yourself. Just my $.02.

Roy you seem to be laughing, but yet angry at the same time. If you post bullshit remarks to me when this has nothing to do with you I WILL patronize ya old buddy. Maybe YOU should not pick fights. Then I get threatened? Maybe we should hear your outburst. Go ahead, I'm getting popcorn.

Wow bob, Great post. I do agree and maybe it was my fault I did not understand the situation. I didn't realize Chris had been working on his driving skills and was still fairly new to taking his car to the track. Maybe kevin is in the same boat, i'm not sure. Like I said if I had that type of power and ran that type of time I would be pissed at myself and the car for not turning in a better timeslip. That is the way I look at it and maybe its a harsh opinion but I apologize. I never meant to pick on anyone or their cars or driving skills, Just stated how I would feel if I was in that boat. But developing track skills is more easily learned in a lower hp car so chris maybe that could help you.

Actually, a lower hp would probably help. I started with a Mach1 that ran 13's, then high 12's. It's help get launching and shifting down before stepping up to a 600rwhp cobra.

Bottom line: These guys have some SICK rides with a BUNCH of new parts that they are not quite used to. They're both on an entirely new setup, and still running low 11s before they even get used to it!! That's just badass. Good job on ur rides chris and kevin, they really are something to be proud of.

You're attitude was apparent in reply #13........I explained in Reply #19 (in a civil fashion) all a real drag racer would need to know about their cars to make a reasonable determination of what happened, which is that:

- traction was lacking that night
- they only got 3 passes
- they're still learning their combo
- dr's are harder to master at their power levels
- both cars ran 11.1 first time out with new combo (Chris - 1.6 60 ft.)

If it takes a response from a professional racer like Bob Kurgan to better convince you what happened and make you civil again, then that's great (thanks Bob). However, we have been stating the same facts since your first post. If you would have backed off a bit at that point, we could have avoided all the BS between our earlier posts and Bob's reply three pages later.
