Default Not a new PB, but still ok

Ran a 10.57 with no spray.
Still a long way from getting the rear suspension and tires dialed in, but this helps

I think I'm having some of the same issues Carl just went through. The front is coming up, the back is going down, but nothing is staying put. The front comes back down too quickly. Still some problems with the back and the new tires to dial in also.
The new 2 step works good, but definitely is taking some getting used to.
The shift kill seems to be working as advertised.

Oh well, there is always next year.
At least I got out once
No missed gears and nothing broken. A good day

Nice Dan. How was US41 hooking for ya?

BTW, you really need to get out more, get everything dialed in, and spray that thing into the 9's.

i know you said you ran the two step, did you use the WOT switch that you dont have to let off the gas? maybe thats what you meant by the shift kill, but if so how did you like that?

For a change, it was hooking pretty good. First time ever for me at that place or anywhere for that matter.

Maybe a 10.0 not sure about 9's. The 60 fts can come down another 2 tenths to the 1.40s and the spray might be good for 3 tenths. We'll see...

Got a few things to change and adjust this winter.

The WOT box has 2 functions:
1 - it works as a 2 step
2 - it kills the ignition for a split second during shifts

Both seem to work well, but definitely take some getting used to.

Here is a link to the modfords thread

The box is working out just fine. Get one.
They're working on a couple of revisions that will help out the turbo/auto guys some more, but they can be installed by a simple download into the box. Watch the Modfords thread.

Actually 41 is better than I have ever seen it as far as the track goes. And you could actually read the time slips too!!
The rest of it is the same.

Your Cobra sounds cool with 2 step.Us41 was hooking great last weekend ,2 mustangs broke rear ends and 454 SS Chevy truck snapped the driveshaft,my brother pulled 1.6 60' on 255 BFG DR. I have few videos of your Cobra from last weekend at US41.

Thanks for taking the time to record and share them.
Right now I need all the help and information I can get to get the car to launch properly.

And yes, 41 was hooking like I have never seen it hook before. I'm not surprised at the breakage.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

I noticed on that 10.57 pass, you kinda burped on the line and triggered the clock to start .......then after a short hesitation you took off down the track. Without that little blip in the beginning starting the timers, that would likely have resulted in a much better ET on that pass.

Yes, and I'm still kicking myself for that one. I red lighted on that pass and instinct took over so I backed out of the throttle when I saw the light and then got back in it when I figured out what I had just done. Duh...

That 2 step is still throwing me. Too many things happening at once. I'll get it all figured out eventually. And yes, that would have been a great pass.
